Recently different application has explained by editorsforpc about ECU, there is another application developed by Ian hawkins named Torque. This app is available on free and paid version Torque Lite and Torque Pro but the price is not much. Well come to the point Torque is a communication tool application, it helps to diagnostics the engine available for Android users that allow you to monitor your car engine control unit (ECU) and get various information from the sensors connected to it you can also use your phone’s internal GPS and accelerator sensors to find other information such as acceleration. Torque can be used to view any stored fault codes on your vehicle’s Engine Control Unit when mechanic fix the fault, it also can clear the fault codes allowing you to clear the ‘Check Engine’ light warning on your dashboard. Torque can use a multitude of OBD adapters, not matter what you get cheaper or expensive.

Torque Lite supports any car manufactured from 2000 onwards but some cars from late 90 and the most important it should have an OBD2 compliant diagnostics port installed. To find that Google it if you are unsure if yours has one or where it is, some ports are hidden quite well under ashtrays that is an important but not much important story to tell. Torque can also upload data to the Torque viewer website so that you can view your recorded OBD data online. The app needs a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter to work. Plug in the adapter into the diagnostics socket in the car which allows your phone to access the car internal parts.

How to Download Torque for PC Windows & Mac:

To download and install Torque for Windows, first, you need to download and install the third party emulators on your PC or Mac. There are many emulators like Andy, Bluestacks, Leaproid, Genymotion, droid4x, MEmu, Nox, iPadian and KOPlayer etc on your PC but users choice is BlueStacks.

Installation of Torque for PC (Bluestacks Method):

  • Firstly download and install BlueStacks emulator on your PC with this {Link}.
  • After the completion of BlueStacks App Player, You will see an icon of BlueStacks on your home screen.
  • Double click on the icon to open it.
  • Give your Gmail address in order to set up the Google Play Store.
  • Now use the search tool at the top right corner and enter the word Torque on it.
  • After finding the application install it.
  • Now go to “My Apps” in BlueStacks, where you can see Torque in your apps.
